James Allen’s Junior School is the junior division of JAGS, with a Pre-Prep for ages 4–7 and a Prep for ages 7–11. Younger pupils attend the Dulwich Village site, moving to East Dulwich Grove at seven. By Years 5–6, all subjects are taught by specialists.
Moving on to JAGS Senior School [1]
Pupils are expected to move to JAGS Senior School at the end of Year 6, provided they meet the academic requirements in Years 5–6. Year 6 pupils take the same assessment as external candidates, to measure progress and inform consideration for academic scholarships.
